CTS is a Cottingham based manufacturing company, specialising in the design, supply and installation of Mechanical Handling Equipment for the Brewing and Distilling Industries.

To be the successful candidate you will have a background and understanding of manufacturing practices and will have experience in project delivery whilst being client facing.

Duties Include:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactively planning to prevent problems
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Completing paperwork accurately and on time
  • Assisting with site visits and surveys as required, including occasional overnight stays
  • General procurement such as purchasing raw materials and tools
  • Managing client relations
  • Support development projects to produce drawing packs and manufacturing information
  • Maintain existing drawing packs and manufacturing information product files to a high standard
  • Ensure information in product files is accurate, complete, and well-presented
  • Create detailed and assembly drawings for new products in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with other departments as needed
  • Producing costing and tenders

Role Requirements

  • Must have knowledge of welding and fabricating and workshop processes
  • Working CAD experience
  • Able to work from detailed engineering drawings
  • Have a good understanding of standards and terminology
  • Good management skills and a team working approach
  • IT skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Grain handling and conveyor knowledge would be advantageous
  • Project Delivery experience
