An Accounts Assistant is sought to be a key member of the accounting team within the retail industry. The role involves supporting a variety of financial operations such as invoicing and budget tracking, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Description
路 To ensure all Supplier paperwork packs are correct and filed correctly.
路 To load all Supplier invoices onto Sage/ Business Central.
路 To reconcile supplier statements to ensure ledgers are up to date and request any missing documentation.
路 To deal with any queries in relation to invoices and resolve any issues or pass onto the relevant department to resolve.
路 To help with diarising payments when they are due to be paid and assisting with loading payments.
路 To create a creditors report and provide it to the Finance Manager to schedule payments.
路 To create new customer/supplier accounts for any new customers and Suppliers we have and input them correctly onto Sage and Business Central.
路 To file all paperwork for invoices in the relevant folders.
路 Maintain all files to make sure they are all organised and invoices can be located if required.
路 To assist sending out any missing order invoices to customers.
路 To help with any requests from customers to make payments and take credit card payments.
路 To reconcile company credit cards in a spreadsheet.
路 To create a debtor's report to assist credit control in chasing any outstanding debts.
路 To raise and create any credit memos that are required for customers liaising with sales team and warehouse team.
路 Help with any other duties from time to time from the Finance Manager/ Directors.
