Futures are working with a leading manufacturer of power and distribution transformers who are looking to appoint a specification manager. The successful specification manager will have a ‘little black book’ of existing contacts and have the ability to hit the ground running in this fast paced sales role. You will predominantly work across the midlands but may travel to other counties as and when required.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and provide the
- Managing Director with market activity feedback
- Where customers are comfortable, conduct face to face visits, alternatively arrange video calls.
- Develop lasting business relationships with new, current and previous clients
- Provide a Technical solution to the clients needs (in conjunction with Engineering when needed)
- Maintain Customer Relationship Management database accurately and in a timely manner and produce a monthly sales report
- Promote and develop corporate image and reputation and contribute to overall business development plan
- Oversee order progress with project engineers and update clients
- Utilise company CRM system to record activities and client information
- Promote a positive image of the business
- Where required, attend trade exhibitions on behalf of the company
- Undertake any further training

The ideal candidate:
- Previous sales experience of High Voltage equipment
- Strong technical knowledge supported by Electrical qualifications
- Enthusiastic
