As they continue to grow, we are looking for a Head of FP&A to provide strategic financial leadership and ensure the effective management of our resources.As the Head of FP&A, you will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of our organisation. You will provide insightful financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support decision-making and ensure financial sustainability. Working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders, you will drive efficiency, enhance financial performance, and support the organisation in achieving its mission.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, providing high-quality financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models, budgets, and forecasts to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Provide detailed variance analysis and performance reporting, identifying key trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to drive financial efficiency and impact.
  • Support funding applications, grant reporting, and donor financial management.
  • Enhance financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.
  • Manage and mentor a small team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
About You:
  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a non-profit or public sector environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in grant reporting, donor management, or charity finance is desirable.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and financial systems.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
