SF Recruitment are recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join an excellent, growing business located in Coventry. This role offers hybrid working, free on-site parking and exceptional career progression.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH

Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for up to 600 employees on a monthly basis and a smaller group of employees on a weekly basis.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of all payroll-related tasks, including salary payments, tax calculations, and deductions.
Work closely with external payroll bureaus to ensure compliance and accuracy of payroll submissions.
Address any discrepancies or issues raised by the payroll bureau, ensuring they are resolved promptly.
Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, tax regulations, and internal company policies related to payroll.
Prepare and submit statutory reports such as PAYE, National Insurance, and pension contributions on time.
Post payroll-related journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring proper allocation of payroll expenses across relevant accounts.
Reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure the accurate exchange of payroll information.
Provide payroll-related advice and support to managers and employees regarding pay queries, deductions, and benefits.
Manage and oversee up to 7 different payroll cycles, ensuring that all payrolls are processed on time and accurately.
Adapt to changing payroll schedules, ensuring all systems and processes are in place for smooth execution.
Maintain accurate payroll records and update employee information as necessary (e.g. salary changes, benefits, tax codes).
Assist in periodic internal and external audits of payroll to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Act as the point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from both employees and managers, managing & resolving any issues or queries.
Ensure that all payroll-related documentation is prepared, filed, and accessible in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Support the creation and distribution of payslips, year-end tax documentation, and other relevant reports.

Requirements:
3+ years' experience in a payroll manager or specialist role.
End-to-end payroll process experience is crucial.
Experience managing multiple payroll cycles
MUST be a team-player
