Interaction is recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician for our client based in CV7 - Coventry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining commercial vehicles and trailers to MOT standard.
Required:
路 Technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician) or proven experience repairing and maintaining vehicles
路 ADR
路 Current driving licence
Duties:
路 Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard
路 Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
路 Ensure vehicles are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises
路 Liaise with parts department to attain parts
路 Ensure all job cards and service sheets are completed in a timely manner
Skills:
路 Able to work to strict guidelines and deadlines
路 Ability to seek solutions to problems
路 Good verbal communication skills
路 Excellent customer service skills
路 Awareness and understanding of health & safety requirements
路 Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks
