Role Overview:

As an IT Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering 2nd line support to ensure smooth operations across the IT infrastructure. You'll manage escalations, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and deliver outstanding service to internal clients. This role is essential in supporting the firm's IT systems, enabling our staff to work efficiently and without interruption.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 2nd line support to resolve hardware and software issues for internal usersSupport and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and mobile device issuesAssist with network connectivity, printer setups, and peripheral devicesCollaborate with the IT team to manage escalations from the 1st line support teamDocument and manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communicationParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline IT processes

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in a 2nd line support role, ideally within a professional services environmentStrong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and networking fundamentalsExceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to support non-technical usersFamiliarity with law firm-specific software (advantageous but not essential)
