Our prestigious law firm in Coventry is looking for an internal IT Technician to join our team and provide top-tier 2nd line support. Role Overview:

As an IT Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering 2nd line support to ensure smooth operations across the IT infrastructure. You'll manage escalations, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and deliver outstanding service to internal clients. This role is essential in supporting the firm's IT systems, enabling our staff to work efficiently and without interruption.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 2nd line support to resolve hardware and software issues for internal users
Support and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and mobile device issues
Assist with network connectivity, printer setups, and peripheral devices
Collaborate with the IT team to manage escalations from the 1st line support team
Document and manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline IT processes

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in a 2nd line support role, ideally within a professional services environment
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and networking fundamentals
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support non-technical users
Familiarity with law firm-specific software (advantageous but not essential)
