Our client, a reputable and forward thinking stationary supplier are seeking to recruit a experienced and customer focused Supply Chain Analyst to their growing team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working in international supply chain management and/or within a large retailer in a supply chain role. The role reports into the Supply Chain Manager.

The successful candidate will need to be a results-focussed team player who has good customer service skills and an eye for detail. We are looking for someone who has a common-sense approach to problem solving with strong commercial awareness who is looking for an opportunity that offers genuine progression within a growing business.

Duties will include:

  • End to end inventory management for key categories within the company portfolio
  • Manage day to day communications with suppliers, including potential visits to suppliers internationally to ensure a full understanding of the of the production and logistics process.
  • Ensure stock and forecast information is analysed & interpreted accurately with orders placed accordingly
  • Work in conjunction with Sales Account Managers, including attending and presenting at customer meetings for all supply chain and logistics matters. Meetings may take place at customers offices internationally.
  • Working alongside the Supply Chain Manager to take an active role in cost saving projects to ensure efficient delivery of our key customer contracts.
  • Weekly analysis of sales, stockholding, and forecasts on relevant key customer contracts
  • Work collaboratively with key suppliers to ensure they have accurate and up to date forecasts that allow them to make necessary plans and commitments for successful delivery of future requirements.
  • Analysis of new range performance with a view to providing insight and influence for future key customer range reviews.
