We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Head of Sustainability and Compliance Manager to lead the development and implementation of our sustainability strategy. In this critical role, you will ensure that we not only meet all regulatory requirements but also take proactive steps to shape the future of our sustainability practices.

What youll be doing:
As a key leader in the business, you will:

  • Drive Cultural Change: Inspire and influence teams to embed sustainability into the core of our business operations.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with evolving legislation and industry standards.
  • Maximise Reuse Opportunities: Lead activities related to RGC (Recycling, Reuse, and Circularity) to drive sustainability.
  • Manage Data Accuracy: Ensure precise data collection for both internal and external sustainability reporting.
  • Champion Industry Best Practices: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring industry trends and implementing innovative initiatives.
  • Represent the Business: Attend relevant industry working groups and events to represent the companys sustainability and compliance interests.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a dedicated sustainability team, including a Sustainable Process Manager, Environmental Coordinator, and Management System Coordinator, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
  • Waste Management & Contractors: Oversee waste streams and external contractor relationships to support sustainability efforts.
  • Gap Analysis & Strategy Development: Prepare gap analyses, identify improvement opportunities, and drive strategies to support net-zero goals.

  • Expertise in Environmental Regulations & Sustainability: A deep understanding of current regulations, frameworks, and sustainability best practices.
  • Leadership & Communication Skills: A strategic thinker with the ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and foster a culture of sustainability.
  • Analytical & Reporting Skills: Strong data analysis and report preparation abilities for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project Management Expertise: Proven experience leading projects, managing cross-functional teams, and driving results.
