Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.
Salary: £13.50 - £18.00 Per Hour, Depending on Experience. (£26,676 - £35,568 Per Annum).
Location: Cramlington NE23.
Schedule: Monday - Friday Day Shift (38 Hours Per Week).

About The Role:
The Manual Machinist is responsible for machining white metal components parts in accordance with customer specification in line with company standards.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Conventional turning to produce high precision parts to customer specifications
- Able to read, interpret and communicate technical drawings
- Ability to use measuring equipment
- Correctly position the component into the machine, using lifting aids as required
- Carry out the machining in accordance to the components route card and technical drawing
- Check your own quality as you work, measuring first-offs before proceeding with any additional machining with hand measuring equipment such as venires and micrometres
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous turning experience is essential
- Milling experience is beneficial
- Educated to Engineering Apprentice level or equivalent is essential
- Previous experience within the manufacturing industry is essential
- Ability to read, interpret and communicate technical drawings is essential
- Manual Handling Training and overhead crane experience is essential
- Good written and oral skills
- Must have proven team-working skills
