Salary: £33,075 - £50,471 (with regular pay progression)
Location: Cranleigh
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (Tuesdays are a must!)
Hours: 34.75 hours/week – Mon to Fri, 9am to 4:30pm (Tuesdays till 5:30pm for staff meetings and training)

Are you a passionate teacher with a knack for Music, PE, Art & Design, Food Tech, Science, or Computing & ICT? Join our 'Outstanding' Ofsted-rated day school for autistic children aged 4-19! Lead a small class of 3-6 pupils, providing 1:1 and small group support to help them thrive.

What You'll Do:

Teach a small class with individualised curriculums.
Plan and implement school-wide curriculum for your subject and organise themed days and events.
Manage pupils’ curriculum targets and vocational qualifications.
Support pupils on trips, bringing theory to life.
Provide behaviour support to improve quality of life.
Collect and analyse data to monitor progress.
Help with breaktime duties, including playground support and snack time.

What You Need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teaching & Learning Status (QTLS).
Experience in the UK school system and knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
Interest in SEND.
Comfort working with children who exhibit challenging behaviours.
Willingness to support with personal/intimate care if needed.
Strong communication skills to liaise with all stakeholders.
