We’re recruiting a Financial Controller for a well-funded, high-growth manufacturing business in Crawley. Reporting to the CFO, you will manage the day-to-day finance operations, lead a small team, and ensure the production of accurate and timely financial information. Salary up to £84,000 plus hybrid working.
This hands-on role offers a chance to drive process improvements and support the business as it scales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit financial statements (IFRS) and manage R&D tax claims
- Produce monthly management accounts and board reports
- Oversee two direct reports and support their development
- Manage cash flow and enhance financial processes and controls
- Support operations and commercial teams with financial insight
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and KPI dashboard development
- Deputise for the CFO as needed
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant with strong IFRS knowledge
- Hands-on, adaptable, and proactive approach
- Experience in fast-growing, PE/VC-backed businesses a plus
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Confident working autonomously in a dynamic environment
