Kenneth Brian Associates, are recruiting exclusively for a growing SME, who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

  • Prepare financial reports like profit and loss, trial balance and balance sheet

  • Quarterly VAT Returns

  • Assisting with year-end accounts

  • Purchase ledger postings

  • Sales Invoices

  • Posting Barclay Card statement reconciliation

  • Maintain the fixed asset register

  • Creating Budget

  • Processing Payroll

  • Ownership and responsibility for year-end audits for x2 branches

  • Raising purchase orders

  • Assistance with expenses reconciliation

    Person Spec:

  • Xero Compentency is highly desirable

  • ACCA Part qualified
  • Highly numerate

  • Excellent analytical, data and spreadsheeting skills

  • The ability to communicate with non-finance people in a clear and

    understandable way

  • Excellent system skills

  • A passion for getting things right

  • Good time management and the ability to work well with people in a team

  • The ability to break down a complex problem into manageable chunks and

    deal with these
