Reed Accountancy are currently assisting a growing organisation in the Crawley area in the recruitment of an Accounts Administrator to provide essential support to their overseas sales teams and the UK-based Operations team. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth operations and ensuring high levels of organisational efficiency. The successful candidate will handle a variety of duties, from processing invoices to maintaining contracts and compliance.

Day-to-day duties of the role:

  • Provide support to both the overseas sales teams and the UK-based Operations team.
  • Resolve queries from colleagues and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance when processing invoices.
  • Document timesheets and expenses.
  • Raise sales invoices to clients.
  • Interact with managers and directors to carry out their ad-hoc requests.
  • Deliver high levels of customer service to clients and contractors.
  • Maintain in-house database systems and enter data into Sage accounts.
  • Maintain team spreadsheets and draft/format relevant documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong prioritisation skills.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel - basic to intermediary level).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities.
  • Some previous experience in accounts/admin is preferred.
