Job: Children's Deputy Manager – (1-Year Fixed Term Contract)

Salary: £16.00 per hour + £30 per sleep-in shift

Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the manager in achieving the aims and objectives outlined in the statement of purpose
- Deputise in the absence of the registered manager
- Support and manage staff to meet the needs of children and young people
- Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate
- Act as the responsible person for managing child protection concerns and complaints
- Work in partnership with professionals to achieve the best outcomes for young people
- Provide supervision and support to senior staff in accordance with care quality standards and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
Person Specification:
- Diploma 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Working towards or already holds Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare
- Full, current driving license
- At least 3 years’ experience in residential children’s care, including supervisory experience
