RG Consultancy are working with a well-established and growing distribution business based in Crewe who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant. This is a brand-new fantastic opportunity with a company who rarely recruit. You will join a medium sized finance team and report back to the Financial Controller

The Role

  • To support the purchase ledger, process invoices and payments in an accurate and timely manner
  • Sales ledger and credit control
  • Managing petty cash
  • Processing payments and preparing refunds
  • Posting of all receipts and payments and ensure allocated correctly
  • Daily bank postings
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Supplier reconciliations
  • To support the finance department and carry out any ad hoc tasks as required by the financial controller.

The Person

  • An AAT qualification or studying towards would be an advantage but not essential
  • Experience using SAP or similar system would be an advantage
  • Good MS Excel skills
  • Experience working within a purchase ledger clerk or all-around accounts role is essential
