Credit Controller

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join an exciting & progressive organisation based in Crewe. The ideal candidate will have a good telephone manner, experience in high volume inbound and outbound calls, and excellent attention to detail.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Actively chase all overdue B2B & B2C debt to ensure invoices are paid on time, in line with payment terms and credit limits.
  • Manage inbound customer and internal depot calls.
  • Review stopped orders regularly for release and work alongside our Sales Depots to clear any overdue balances or queries.
  • Identify queries and liaise with our Sales Depots to effectively resolve customer queries to maintain good customer service levels.
  • Regular debt ledger review, account reconciliations, and management of unallocated cash.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller.
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
  • Experience in handling high volume inbound and outbound calls.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile complex accounts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with financial software.
