Credit Controller

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join an exciting & progressive organisation based in Crewe. The ideal candidate will have a good telephone manner, experience in high volume inbound and outbound calls, and excellent attention to detail.
Day to Day of the role:
- Actively chase all overdue B2B & B2C debt to ensure invoices are paid on time, in line with payment terms and credit limits.
- Manage inbound customer and internal depot calls.
- Review stopped orders regularly for release and work alongside our Sales Depots to clear any overdue balances or queries.
- Identify queries and liaise with our Sales Depots to effectively resolve customer queries to maintain good customer service levels.
- Regular debt ledger review, account reconciliations, and management of unallocated cash.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller.
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
- Experience in handling high volume inbound and outbound calls.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile complex accounts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with financial software.
