Role Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-to-one or small group support for students with diverse learning needs

  • Assisting the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and helping them to overcome barriers to learning

  • Encouraging students to develop their academic and social skills

  • Helping with classroom organisation and behaviour management

  • Monitoring students' progress and providing feedback to the class teacher

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, ideally within a school or educational setting

  • A genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

  • A proactive and adaptable approach to your work

  • An enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one

  • SEN experience or a desire to work with students with special educational needs is an advantage, but not essential
