Fluidrive Engineer

One of my clients, a leading company specialising in drive technology and engineering systems, is currently recruiting for a Fluidrive Engineer. This is a permanent, full-time position based at their UK facility.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will work on-site in various locations, creating and updating manufacturing drawings, providing technical support, and collaborating with both internal teams and external customers. This position involves working with advanced drive and transmission systems across multiple industries.

Key Requirements

  • Mechanical engineering qualification (HND or higher)
  • Substantial experience (10 years) in manufacturing and design
  • Proficiency with CAD software and document control systems (AUTO-CAD / Siemens Nx and Team Centre)
  • Knowledge of BS 8888 technical product documentation standards
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and metal casting
  • Experience with power transmissions and rotating equipment
  • Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
  • Adaptable approach and willingness to work in diverse environments
