Commercial Security Compliance Manager

Are you a security professional with a strong background in information security and Site Security Compliance?We are working with a global engineering business who are seeking a Commercial Security Compliance Manager to take a leading role in safeguarding their operations across 3 UK sites.This is a key position responsible for managing, implementing, and overseeing security frameworks, security aspects letters, policies, and strategies to protect both company and customer interests.In this role, you will ensure compliance with UK and international regulations, act as the primary liaison for law enforcement and security agencies, and work across various customer projects. You will also drive the continuous development of security management processes to address evolving threats.The business have an aim to increase the amount of contracts they work on within the Defence sector and so need someone equipped to manage the security implications of delivering such work. From all the employee security requirements to the information, data and digital security compliances needed to provide the most secure customer experience and adherence to contractual security stipulations.Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with security regulations, IT systems, and classified information handling.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for security matters with law enforcement and government agencies.
  • Adapt and implement global security policies and procedures at UK sites.
  • Manage the employee security clearance requirements and process
  • Support the Bids team on any company adaptations required to undertake new work as a result of contractual security requirements.
  • Support local management in identifying, mitigating, and reporting security risks.
  • Develop and maintain security processes, instructions, and training programs.
  • Foster a security-conscious culture within the organisation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • University degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Hands-on experience in security audits, information security, and compliance.
  • Strong background in cybersecurity, IT security, and classified information protection.
  • Experience with ISO/IEC 27001 and security governance frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
