The RoleNigel Wright are pleased to be working with a Darlington based business looking for a Junior Data Analyst on a 12 month FTC basis. This role will be reporting to the Financial Analyst and you will be responsible for collecting, processing and analysing data to help drive business decisions. The Junior Data Analyst will work closely with the Data Analyst to provide data driven insights and help develop and maintain data solutions. Tasks and Responsibilites
  • Gather data from various internal and external sources
  • Clean and process the raw data to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency. 
  • Assist in maintaining and updating databases and data systems 
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and visualisations to present data insights to stakeholders 
  • Collaborate with the team to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations 
  • Collect, organise and maintain large sets of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources including CRM, financial records and customer feedback 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide support as required 
Specifications for the role
  • 1-2 years experience in data analysis or a related field 
  • Internships and academic projects involving data analytics are advantageous 
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI or similar)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and Excel for querying databases 
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis
  • Problem solving skills 
  • Attention to detail
