The role involves gathering, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to support decision-making across various business units.
Key responsibilities include maintaining large data sets, ensuring data integrity, creating reports and dashboards, and improving data processes.
Candidates should have experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
The position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience, with a salary range of £30,000 to £40,000.

The CompanyNigel Wright Tech is pleased to be working with an established consumer services business in the North East in their search for a Data Analyst. Reporting into the Finance team you will be gathering, analysing and interpreting complex data sets to support decision making across various business units. The RoleMain responsibilities include:

Collect, organise and maintain large sets of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources including CRM systems, financial records and customer feedback
Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data audits and cleansing
Create clear, concise and visually compelling reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, SQL or similar
Custom scripts or automation of data processes and reporting
Propose and implement improvements to current data collection, storage and analysis processes

The RequirementsKey requirements include:

Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar
Ability to analyse large and complex data sets to identify key insights and trends
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to think critically and propose data driven solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
