Location: Dartford Head Office

Salary: 30,000 DOE

Purpose of the Job

As the finance assistant, you will undertake and maintain the day-to-day tasks in the finance department. You will be responsible for the accurate data entry into the systems, prepare supplier payments and assisting the Finance Manager with any reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Entry and control of purchase and Contractors invoices through the AP system
  • Verification of subcontractor tax status using HMRC systems
  • Reconcile supplier statements to ensure entries are not duplicated and correct payments are made.
  • Liaise with suppliers and managers to resolve invoice queries and discrepancies.
  • Set up new clients in accounting system and transfer to CAFM system.
  • Cash posting and credit control.
  • Ensuring fleet is up to date and compliant with company policy and assisting and with fleet management.
  • Bank reconciliations and process/post credit card statements for the business unit.
