My Client, A successful IT infrastructure company, are looking for a diligent Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant to join their easy-going team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks and is a great opportunity for someone who has knowledge in forecasting, budgeting, and analysis. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented and enjoys working in a relaxed, easy-going environment.

Day to day of the role:
  • Preparing financial forecasts and budgets to help guide business planning.
  • Conducting Profit and Loss analysis to understand the company’s financial health.
  • Compiling management account packs for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Performing costings and revenue analysis to support financial decision-making.
  • Maintaining accurate balance sheet records and conducting regular analysis.
  • Conducting internal audits, ensuring VAT returns and other financial documents are correct.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards and assisting with external auditing processes.
  • Assisting with cash flow management to ensure the company’s financial stability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or as an assistant accountant.
  • Strong understanding of financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in creating management account packs and conducting costings.
  • Ability to perform revenue analysis and balance sheet analysis with high accuracy.
  • Experience with internal audits and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Knowledge of VAT returns and cash flow management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
