Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a dynamic and supportive environment? My client is seeking a talented Sales Support Executive to join our team and support our UK Business Managers in driving NPI sales for a diverse portfolio of customer accounts.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage the New Product Development (NPD) process including originating a critical path for each project and maintaining a project management schedule.
- Attend weekly cross-functional meetings to provide updates, highlight potential issues, and ensure trials are carried out correctly.
- Liaise with customer contacts to ensure project progression and manage the artwork process effectively.
- Coordinate and attend artwork meetings and press passes, and be present at first production runs to prepare customer samples.
- Manage designated customer accounts, including relationship management, NPD and range management, customer negotiations, forecasting, and internal and external communication.
- Provide support in customer administration, coordinate customer raw material requirements with the supply chain, and manage customer contact for ad hoc information requirements.
- Commercial experience within FMCG or related industries.
- Ideally, a graduate in a business-related area.
- Experience working in an international business environment is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Proficient in project management and able to prioritize a wide-ranging and rapidly changing workload.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and in full.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and advocate optimal solutions.
