Finance Manager, Derby (hybrid) – Maternity cover.£40-50kWorking as part of a team of 3, you will have a broad role that is responsible for all aspects of accounts preparation. The company are forward thinking and focused on growth.Responsibilities includeAll aspect of accounts preparation Monthly management accounts preparationPreparation of financial accountsPayroll (monthly)Budgeting and forecastingOverseeing purchase and sales ledgerCash forecasting and credit management.Management reporting and analysisAssist with annual statutory accounts preparation.Vat returnsSystems and process improvement – ensuring the timelyAssisting with auditSupporting with any other ad hoc dutiesIdeal personYou will have previous experience in a similar role.You will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant (AAT, CIMA, ACCA). You will be a detail conscious, self-starter, who likes to “own” your role.You will be a team player with a can do/solutions focused attitude.
