Learning & Development Administrator

My client who are a leading manufacturer within their field are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Administrator to join their team due to continued growth and expansion.

You will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of the learning and development initiatives. You will be reporting directly to the L&D section manager.

Learning & Development Requirements:

  • Experience working within a learning and development role previously
  • Extensive Administration skills, proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • CIPD or Level 3 L&D practitioner apprenticeship would be preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) is preferred but not essential (Training will be given)
  • Experiences in delivery of impactful training, both face to face and virtually.

Learning and Development Duties:

  • Providing a reliable first point of contact for the organisation for all learning and development matters.  Responding to/dealing with queries, escalating where necessary to the relevant people.
  • Co-ordinate all learning and development activities, including managing the learning and development annual schedule, managing course bookings/events, attendance, course materials, equipment. travel, accommodation and facilities for L&D events
  • Responsible for maintaining the learning and development centre, including its equipment, resources and general upkeep.
  • Communicate course requirements with trainers, learners and external suppliers with agreed timelines
  • Manage (with support from the LD Lead) the training budget. Plus, source training equipment and consumables managing the process from quotation through to delivery. Liaising with training suppliers as needed.
  • Support the administration and optimisation of our Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure it supports business requirements, working with the supplier to manage systems issues, escalating to next level of support when required.
  • Work in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies & procedures and guidelines, both internal and external.
