Transport First Line Manager

Monday - Friday: Weekly Rotating - 6.00AM - 2.00PM / 2.00PMPM

Day to Day Duties

  • To be the first point of contact for the Transport Administrators and driving staff.
  • To complete all requested report data fully, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • To oversee,review and conduct HR and incident investigations.
  • To report any incidents to the Transport Manager.
  • To conduct 1-2-1's with direct reports.
  • To positively challenge existing processes.
  • Ensure drivers are following both EU and WTD hours and pass on any relevant information regarding these.
  • To ensure they stay up to date with any legislation changes.
  • To maintain a compliant H&S environment and challenge any misuse of equipment or non-compliance
  • To ensure investigations , both incident and HR, are carried out to the required standard and within a suitable timetable, producing supporting documentation and implementing proactively corrective actions plans

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience of working within transport industry

Desirable Experience

  • Proven experience in customer relationship management.
  • Have managed financial budgets and annual Profit and Loss responsibility.
  • Hold international or national CPC qualification and previous Transport Management experience.
