PageGroup are delighted to support a large and successful FMCG organisation based in Derby with the appointment of a generalist interim HR Business Partner to join a busy manufacturing site.

Due to the nature of this sector, the role is fully-office based

This assignment will be circa 3-6 months, possible scope for permanent

Description

  • This busy, fast-paced Interim HR Business Partner role will report to a Head of HR and oversee a small HR team of 2.
  • You will be responsible for partnering with the management team at this busy food manufacturing site and supporting with all generalist people matters such as:

    • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to management within the business units.
    • Manage and resolve high-volume and complex employee relations issues, conducting objective investigations when necessary (Unionised environment)
    • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
    • Support with Recruitment on-site
    • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management.
    • Identify training needs for business units
    • Up-skill and coach manager to deal with people matters effectively
    • Supervise and coach a small HR team of 2
    • Support the Head of HR with HR projects and initiatives

Profile

Ideal candidates for this assignment will be available at short notice and have a proven background in a similar role.
