Aspire People is seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work full-time in SEN settings across Derby. This is a temp-to-perm role, with the opportunity to transition to a school contract after the probation period.

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:

Hold a valid UK driving license (essential - applications without this will not be considered).
Have experience working with SEN students in an educational or care setting.
Be available to work 5 days a week.
Possess a patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach to supporting children with additional needs.
Be confident in managing challenging behaviors and implementing individualized support plans.
Responsibilities
Provide dedicated 1:1 or small group support to students with Special Educational Needs.
Assist in the implementation of tailored learning programs.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment for students to thrive.
Collaborate with teaching staff and external professionals to ensure students' progress and well-being.
Support students' academic, emotional, and social development.
