As the Head of NPD, you will manage the end-to-end product development process, from concept ideation to market launch, ensuring timely delivery of innovative, high-quality formulations that comply with regulatory standards and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the NPD strategy to align with the company's growth objectives and market positioning.
- Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, regulatory, and quality assurance.
- Oversee the formulation, testing, and packaging of new products, ensuring alignment with aesthetic, functional, and budgetary goals.
- Manage the NPD pipeline, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the NPD team, cultivating a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Ensure all product formulations comply with global regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EU Cosmetics Regulation).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cosmetics product development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully launching innovative cosmetic products in the market.
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic formulation, manufacturing processes, and regulatory frameworks.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Adept at managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
