Your new roleThe System Support and Development Analyst (SSDA) will work closely with system users to analyse processes, provide solutions, and document them. They will manage and resolve support calls within defined SLAs, collaborating with Managed Service providers when necessary. The role also involves offering expert advice and training, adapting to various BPSS requirements.The SSDA ensures core application stability and rapid incident response, identifies and supports process improvements, and manages setup, maintenance, and service delivery. They meet performance targets, use resources efficiently, and participate in problem and knowledge management. The role includes resolving incidents and data issues quickly, promoting data quality, and ensuring accurate information. The SSDA configures and manages systems per change control, performs root cause analysis on data issues, and provides second/third line incident support. They conduct User Acceptance testing, build strong team relationships, demonstrate flexibility and professional service, maintain current knowledge and integrity, support system improvements, and develop an understanding of BPSS systems.Principal Accountabilities:

  • Daily Operations: Deliver BPSS support services within agreed SLAs.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve escalated issues from suppliers, partners, vendors, and customers.
  • Problem and Defect Management: Analyse and resolve system issues.
  • Development Services: Develop and deliver enhancements, improvements, and projects.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure adherence to security practices and standards.
  • Relationships: Maintain trusted relationships with suppliers, partners, vendors, and customers.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance for BPSS Systems.
  • Collaboration: Drive innovation in ERP processes and systems.

Nature and Scope:

  • Promote BPSS Systems Support & Development Team.
  • Support BPSS Delivery Manager.
  • Collaborate with Systems Support and Development Analysts, and Reconciliation & Maintenance Officer.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Obtain ITIL Foundation Certificate within 12 months.
  • Pragmatic problem-solving attitude.
  • Comprehend technical issues.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Methodical and organised approach.
  • Experience with Business Systems or Applications, preferably Oracle Fusion, HCM, and related modules.
  • Strong teamwork and customer liaison skills.
