As a Procurement Manager - Satellite Systems, you will have the the opportunity to collaborate with international teams across global offices and interact with world-class suppliers. Occasional travel to meet global suppliers may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and/or draft procurement and commercial documents, including Statements of Work (SOW), Contracts, and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Support the preparation of technical specifications.
- Lead or support supplier negotiations to secure the best outcomes.
- Draft and issue procurement contracts, primarily for UK products.
- Oversee supplier performance from contract award through delivery completion.
- Ensure compliance with export controls for procurement to final destinations, including supplier country regulations.
- Consult with space agencies and industry suppliers to ensure mission success.
What We’re Looking For:
- BSc or equivalent in Engineering, Procurement, or Business Management.
- Strong commercial experience in satellite subsystems procurement.
- Proven ability to prepare and review commercial documents (SOW, Contracts, NDAs).
- End-to-end procurement lifecycle experience in an engineering product environment.
- Expertise in managing suppliers, from sourcing to post-delivery.
- Knowledge of European and US export controls.
- Exceptional negotiation skills.
