Our client, a leading Civil Engineering and Building Contractor, is currently recruiting for an experienced Document Controller to join their team on a permanent basis, based in Dingwall.

As a Document Controller, you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining project documentation, ensuring efficient communication and coordination across teams, and supporting the successful delivery of projects.
This role requires on-site presence in Dingwall, however, for the right candidate, there is the opportunity to incorporate hybrid working.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and maintain the document control system to manage project files and ensure version control.
  • Distribute and track project documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to manage document workflows.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of reports, schedules, and project close-out documentation.

Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience in document control or project administration is essential.
  • Familiarity with the construction or civil engineering industry is highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication, organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing documentation.
  • Able to handle changing priorities and project requirements.
  • Proficiency in document control software (e.g. SharePoint) is advantageous.
