Finance Administrator Part Time -  3 days per week (Monday is essential) 9:00am to 3:00pm £12.70 per hourBased in Diss, Norfolk TemporaryWe are seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to join our client based in Diss, Norfolk. The purpose of the role is to perform a variety of Finance and Admin duties, preparing weekly and monthly payroll for all employees using in house systems. Duties Include:
  • Processing hours into the payroll system in order for head office to complete payroll
  • Maintaining payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
  • Coordinating with the HR team to ensure employee related data is correctly loaded into the Payroll System, and that all necessary amendments have been completed by the payroll cut-off dates
  • Receiving and coordinating requests for leave and other absences
  • Answering employees’ queries in respect of payroll, referring any complex issues to the appropriate level / manager.
  • Ensuring that all documentation is correctly filed, in order that financial auditors can be satisfied in their audit, via the efficient recovery of key documents of initial entry
  • Dealing with matters related to invoice processing and other finance tasks
  • Reviewing and approving invoicing
  • Managing Petty Cash 
 Skills and experience required: 
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Able to be responsive to time critical situations and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent administrative and record-keeping skills.
  • Good management and organisational skills, ability to prioritise and multi-task.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and pays attention to detail
  • Ability to work on a deadline
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, changing environment and demonstrable experience of managing own workload
