Bid Writer, Compliance and Accreditations Co-ordinator

Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position.

Our Client is a successful communications company based in Doncaster, that have been trading for over 45 years and are looking for an experienced Bid Writer, Compliance and Accreditations Coordinator

As the Bid Writer, Compliance and Accreditations Coordinator you will be responsible for sourcing, preparing, and submitting tenders, proposals, expressions of interest submissions across multiple sectors such as education, health, commercial, retail and leisure; the variations in project types and value requires an innovative approach and keeps the role challenging and developing skills.

Key duties

  • Preparing accreditation documentation revising as necessary and coordinating production of documentation, in time to ensure submission deadlines are met.
  • To assist in the development, updating and maintenance of all company policies and procedures
  • Providing the central point of contact and communications with accrediting bodies and other external agencies including RISQS, SafeContractor, Cyber Essentials etc.
  • Create and maintain electronic company information on customer portals.
  • To ensure the payment process for accreditation and subscription fees are paid within timescales.
  • Tracking of all tender related correspondence before, during and after submission.
  • Communicating and working with account mangers in preparing submission data, as well as writing and editing submission documents.
  • Review and format submissions to comply with Ninehundred Communications brand guidelines and purchaser requirements.
  • Written word/content of any PQQ/tender submissions and monitor/record our PQQ/tender success rates.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of standard responses to common questions.
  • Write, review, and edit bid responses to ensure they are fully compliant and meet the client's requirements.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of tender procedures and practices.
  • Obtain feedback from purchasers when tenders are unsuccessful.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Prior experience in the same or similar role and with providing administrative support.
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe PDF 
  • Positive, can-do attitude, with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Respect the importance of confidentiality.
  • Analytical skills
