Are you passionate about science and supporting education and training in a dynamic school environment? We are seeking a dedicatedScience Technician to join a thriving secondary school in Doncaster. This role is set to begin in March and will continue until July 2025, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the academic year.
As a Science Technician in Doncaster, you will play a key role in supporting the science department by preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the smooth running of practical lessons. Your work will directly contribute to the education and training of students, helping to inspire the next generation of scientists.

- Contract: Temporary supply via Academics

Hours: 8:00am - 2:30pm, Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: £100 - £130 per day (dependent on experience)
Responsibilities:

Prepare and set up equipment for science experiments.

Maintain and manage science resources and laboratories.

Support teachers and students during practical lessons.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Contribute to the education and training of students by creating an engaging learning environment.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a science technician or in a similar role is desirable.

A strong understanding of secondary level science subjects (Biology, Chemistry and Physics).

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

A commitment to supporting education and training in a school setting.
- A full, enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain a new one.
