If so, GSL Education are seeking Teaching Assistants to work within secondary schools across Doncaster, assisting students in Years 7 to 11. Role Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with teachers to support students in their academic and personal growth. Your role will involve working with individuals and small groups, reinforcing key concepts, and providing tailored support to students who need extra help.

Key Responsibilities of Teaching Assistant:

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons that meet students' needs.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who require additional assistance.
  • Help students with special educational needs (SEN) to access the curriculum.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and a productive learning environment.
  • Offer feedback to teachers on student progress and areas for development.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with young people in an educational or mentoring role.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to student support.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for education and helping students succeed.
  • A relevant qualification in education or child development is advantageous but not essential.
