With significant potential for growth, a first-class Fleet Maintenance Controller is required to manage the company’s fleet assets. There is also an excellent future opportunity for a talented and ambitious candidate to step up to Depot Manager as part of the Group’s overall growth strategy.

THE ROLE

  • Effective leadership of all fleet management and maintenance activities to maximise fleet operational performance
  • Work collaboratively with the team, key stakeholders, customers, suppliers and service partners, ensuring great customer service at all times
  • Ensure the fleet meets all maintenance, safety and compliance legislation, including related documentation in line with industry regulations
  • Own the fleet maintenance budget, taking control of all costs relating to maintenance, repair and up-keep of all assets
  • Manage vehicle return checks from customers, ensuring an accurate damage recharging process

THE PERSON

  • A first class, technically qualified commercial vehicle engineering specialist with excellent communication, relationship building and leadership skills
  • Background in a commercial vehicle workshop or technical environment, with a strong knowledge of maintaining commercial vehicle assets
  • You may currently be a Fleet Engineer, Senior Technician, Workshop Controller or Service Manager, looking for your next exciting career step
  • Excellent knowledge of the safety and compliance regulations in this type of arena
  • Ability to engage with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders to drive business performance
  • Enthusiastic, driven, self-motivated, innovative and passionate about delivering great results
