We are seeking a Music Tutor experienced in delivering a whole class music curriculum. This role involves delivering our development plan to Year 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 students for a total of 9 hours a week. The ideal candidate will inspire and motivate children, fostering their progression in music. The position starts in January.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver music lessons to Year 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6, following the attached development plan.
  • Conduct sessions from 1:15 pm to 3:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Friday. Alternative delivery times may be considered.
  • Create engaging and dynamic lessons that inspire and motivate children to progress in their musical abilities.
  • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in delivering a whole class music curriculum.
  • Ability to engage and inspire young students in music.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet the educational needs.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
