Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage and collect debts from company debtors.
- Assess new credit requests and review customers’ credit ratings with banks.
- Establish terms and conditions for receivable and payable balances.
- Ensure timely payment from customers by resolving payment issues and negotiating repayment plans.
- Handle internal payment queries and external invoice disputes.
- Accurately post and allocate daily receipts to accounting systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a Credit Controller role.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and data entry; familiarity with accounting software is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain effective client relationships at all levels.
- Skilled in negotiation and managing challenging situations.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to handle a demanding workload.
