Job Opportunity: HR and Payroll Specialist

Are you passionate about people, processes, and precision? Our client is seeking a dynamic HR and Payroll Specialist looking to take on their next role. As a key player in the organisation working alongside an HR team of 5 and supporting around 500 staff across a number of sites, you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth HR operations and accurate payroll management. Responsibilities:

Human Resources (HR):

  • Attend ER and other meetings as an advisor, witness, and diligent notetaker.
  • Provide essential support during TUPE, restructures, and acquisitions.
  • Facilitate feedback reports/projects
  • Prepare all HR reporting, including monthly metrics for our Board Report.
  • Support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
  • Support HR projects
  • Handle generalist HR administration in alignment with the employee lifecycle.

Pay, Rewards & Benefits:

  • Workwith the outsourced payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Manage queries related to payroll and benefits.
  • Prepare data for National Minimum Wage (NMW), salary reviews, bonuses, and gender pay reporting.
  • Organise Long Service Award gifts and celebrations.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of colleague events, including our annual awards ceremony.
