The role would suit supervisors or team leaders from a foundry background. You will ideally have experience of managing and leading small teams. Applicants who have experience working within metal pouring departments or who are familiar with Kunkel Wagner (KW) machines will have a considerable advantage.
Reporting to the Production Manager, your role will mainly involve people management and developing a team of 6 employees. You will be hands on within your role alongside overseeing all activities within the pouring department within the foundry. You will prioritise/allocate labour to ensure smooth production processes. You will manage the team to KPIs and motivate them/feedback on their activity.

Foundry Operative Team Leader:
*Responsible for coordinating a team of circa 6 foundry operatives
*Overseeing all activity within the pouring department
*Monitoring and working to KPIs
*Hands on machine operating and setting using KW machine
*Ensuring and championing H&S
*Monday to Friday DAYS. 39 Hours
Foundry Operative Team Leader:
*Can transfer from any foundry background
*Will ideally have experience of leading, mentoring and coordinating teams
*Team Leaders with previous experience working on auto pour or KW machines will have a considerable advantage
