Flourish Education are currently recruiting for a SEN Hub Teacher to support in a SEN hub based within a Primary school in Dudley. This school is 2-form entry and values a community who is passionate about learning and providing and excellent learning experience for children.

Our client is seeking a long-term SEN Hub Teacher/HLTA for a no planning position. The position would include working closely with the SENCo and Support staff to ensure the children’s needs are met, you will also be amending EHCPs, attending review meetings and providing feedback on progress to parents.

The school are looking for an SEN hub teacher or HLTA to support on a full-time, long-term basis.


As an SEN Hub Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering lessons in line with the National Curriculum for pupils with SEN.
  • Supporting pupils with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Working across Early Years (EYFS), KS1, and KS2 to ensure an inclusive learning environment.
  • Liaising with parents, carers, and other professionals to provide the best possible support.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and supporting social and emotional development.
  • Adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • Experience working with children with SEN in a Primary School setting.
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum and its application in SEN teaching.
  • Strong understanding of EHCPs, IEPs, and SEN legislation.
  • Ability to work as both a Class Teacher and Supply Teacher.
