Grafton Recruitment is partnering with a leading manufacturer of construction materials that is looking for a Business Development Manager to oversee customer relations in the South West region (Herefordshire, Gwent, Mid Glamorgan, West Glamorgan, South Glamorgan, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Bristol, Somerset, Dorset and Devon).

This role is ideal for someone with experience in selling building materials to national developers and contractors, who is eager to drive growth and build long-term client partnerships.

What will you be doing?

  • Acting as the key point of contact for housing developers and contractors in your region, ensuring top-tier service and satisfaction.
  • Promoting bricks, stone, and other building materials to key decision-makers within the construction industry.
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to expand market share and increase revenue.
  • Building strong relationships with commercial teams and collaborating on sales opportunities.
  • Staying up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and emerging construction technologies.
  • Maintaining accurate sales records and providing reports using company software.
