Venn Group’s specialist legal team is recruiting for an experienced Locum Property & Regeneration Lawyer to join a West Midlands Local Authority. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile regeneration projects and provide expert legal support on property transactions within the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising on property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development agreements.
  • Supporting regeneration projects, including negotiating key agreements.
  • Drafting and negotiating property and commercial contracts, including overage agreements, option agreements, and grant funding.
  • Providing legal advice on land and property law, including landlord and tenant matters.
  • Working closely with council departments, developers, and external stakeholders to progress key projects.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with proven experience in property and regeneration law.
  • Local government experience is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to manage a varied and complex caseload with minimal supervision.
