JOB- Process EngineerLOCATION – DunfermlineTERM- PermanentSALARY- £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)We are looking for a Process Engineer on a permanent basis in the Dunfermline. With experience in the experience in the engineering / manufacturing industry. As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting product development and production by providing process feasibility assessments, optimization insights, and tooling designs/estimates. You will collaborate closely with Product Design Engineers and Production teams to ensure smooth operations and effective process implementation.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design project-specific tooling and test fixtures as needed.
  • Prepare tooling estimates for quotations in collaboration with Product Design Engineers.
  • Assist Product Engineers in preparing labor estimates for quotations.
  • Assess feasibility and draft production procedures for new products.
  • Design testing equipment tailored to project requirements.
  • Lead process optimization efforts and contribute to product improvements.
Production-Related:
  • Oversee the design, selection, commissioning, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Provide technical support to Production Operators and Inspectors.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers for tools and equipment.
  • Coordinate with administrative staff for the procurement of tools and equipment.
  • Support production transfer activities within the organization.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and assessments.
