Early Years Teaching Assistant - Dunstable - January 2025 - July 2025 - Option to go permanently with the school

Do you have a passion for working with early years children? Are you looking for a full-time role in a mainstream Primary School in Dunstable?

Tradewind are currently working closely with a brilliant mainstream primary in Dunstable who are looking for a motivated educator to join their early years team to support students with SEND. Your role will be to work on a 1-1 basis with a child with ASD. You will be responsible for keeping the children in your care safe whilst encouraging learning through play. The children you will be working with will be in the process of being assessed so you will play a role in feeding back to the SENDCO and outside agencies on your observations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track progress of the children in your care.
  • Create a fun and safe learning environment
  • Collaborate with other early years staff to ensure the smooth running of the setting

About you

  • Passionate about working with children in early years
  • Previous experience, either personally or professionally, with children with SEND
  • Able to commute to Dunstable
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Available full-time - 8:30-3:30 minimum
