Following a significant capital investment, our client is growing across the board and shows no sign of slowing down as we continue this year!Our client has been in the space for over 20 years and over this time, has put together a multi-gigawatt pipeline of projects in renewable energy. The have close to 2GW of projects currently in active development, and a similar capacity in their wider pipeline.Their negotiations when it came to their capital investment was sure to maintain their existing pipeline and team - thus preserving the strong collaborative culture and team of experienced renewables professionals that have made this company the success they are today!They are currently looking at growth in their team with the addition of a Stakeholder/Community Engagement Manager. This person will be responsible for devising effective strategies for engaging with local communities and relevant stakeholders for the development of renewable energy projects.Some key skills for this role:> Experience in curating strong relationships with influential stakeholders within a project (local governments, parish councils, planning authorities, local communities etc.)> Attending public consultations alongside the land acquisition/planning teams to effectively engage with local communities.> A track record of delivering effective communications and marketing surrounding project proposals and the benefits of working alongside a renewable energy developer.> Experience in maintaining existing relationships ongoing within projects to maintain public support for projects.The main body of your work would be alongside the planning team with this role playing a crucial role in ensuring planning application approval for utility-scale energy projects.
